Professional Profile
Dr. Ranjit Kumar is a distinguished Principal Scientist at ICAR-NAARM and the CEO/Co-founder of a-IDEA, the academy's Technology Business Incubator. He began his career as an ARS-Scientist at ICAR-IARI in 2000 and has since served in pivotal roles including Senior Scientist at ICAR-IISS and Head of the Agribusiness Management Division at NAARM.
His global experience includes coordinating the BMGF-funded "Village Dynamics studies in South Asia" project at ICRISAT and training at IFPRI, Washington DC. He has been instrumental in initiating training programs on FPO management and entrepreneurial skill development.
Mentorship & Research
Dr. Kumar has guided over 20 PG students (M.Sc & PGDM) and serves on the editorial boards of IJAE and IJAS. He is also a member of the Board of Studies at RPCAU and the Academic Council at PJTSAU.
