Kannan Narayanswamy has over two decade of experience with investing, incubating and advising startups. He was among the first to raise venture capital funds for the Indian IT industry in 1992 through Credit Capital Venture Fund Limited (Delhi & Bangalore). He helped create a start-up VC Fund called Sterling Technology & Venture Corporation (STVC), incubated a technology company, a joint venture between TeNet Group and IIT-M. He previously worked with Polaris Software Labs as Vice President handling M&A, divestitures, incubations and internal process monitoring. Apart from being a regular contributor to industry magazines like Dataquest and Business Line, addressing issues in the Indian software industry, he is also a visiting Professor at IIMA teaching VC and Private Equity courses.
