Work Experience Assistant Professor in RAU from 1996 to 2002, Sr Scientist in ICAR- CAZRI, Jodhpur, Rajasthan from 2002 to 2008; Professor (PHT) in 2008 Sept to December at CHF (CAU) , Pasighat ( Arunachal Pradesh); Principal Scientist (Hort.) from Dec 2008 to April 2017; Director from April 2017 to March 2021 at ICAR-NRC on Seed Spices, Ajmer, Rajasthan; Member (Ag.), Cauvery Water Management Authority, New Delhi from March 2021 to February 2025; Joint Director ICAR- NAARM, Hyderabad from February and Acting Director, ICAR-NAARM from June, 2025. Areas of Interest: Horticulture, Crop Improvement, Production Management, MIS, Organic Farming, Protected Cultivation, PHT and Value addition, Value Chain Management and Natural Resources Management. Research Guidance: Guided 13 Students for M Sc and Ph D Degree. Taught 05 courses on Horticultural aspects. Technologies: Developed 13 Varieties of Seed Spices, 60 Technologies and 35 Value added products. Publications: Published 200 Research papers, 26 Books Authored and Edited, 52 Manuals and Bulletins, 90 Book Chapters, 165 Technical Articles. Research Projects: Handled 69 in-house and 7 externally funded research projects. Fellowships: Recipient of 7 Fellowships from National Level societies including National Academy of Horticultural Sciences, NABS, NESA and ISS. Awards: Recipient of six awards from National level societies including Dr RS Paroda Award conferred by CHAI, New Delhi and Best Researcher Award by ISSS, Ajmer, Life Time Achievement Award by Hi-tech Horticulture Society, Meerut, UP. Got FSSAI and ISO certificates, and two National Awards for NRCSS, Ajmer.
